Everything you need to know about our services

We have prepared answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding powder coating technology and the process of handling your orders.

What is powder coating?

Powder coating (komaxit) is a modern metal surface treatment technology in which paint is applied in the form of dry powder. No solvents are required, making the process environmentally friendly and safe.

The main advantages include high resistance to impact and scratches, long service life, and environmental friendliness. The surface creates a hard yet flexible “shell” that does not peel and does not harm the environment.

  • Steel: Strong protection against rust.
  • Aluminum: Hard and color-stable surface (e.g., wheel rims).
  • Galvanized parts: Double protection—zinc on the inside, powder on the outside.
  • Cast iron: Smooth and durable surface (e.g., radiators).
  • Anodized aluminum

Our ovens can process parts up to 8 meters. This dimension includes space for mounting and handling the part. For oversized or special shapes, we recommend sending a photo or drawing.

Please provide as much information as possible:

  • Interior / Exterior
  • Shade according to RAL
  • Surface: smooth, fine or coarse texture
  • Gloss: high gloss, gloss, matte, deep matte
  • Special requirements: anti-graffiti, food-grade standard
  • Powder coating thickness (µm)
  • Masking: threads, screws, holes
  • Material: iron, aluminum, anodized, galvanized
  • Product type: fence, profile, cabinet, etc.

The price is determined by:

  • Surface area and dimensions: Larger parts consume more powder and oven space.
  • Part complexity: Complex shapes extend coating time.
  • Weight and thickness: Massive parts take longer to heat, increasing energy consumption.
  • Paint type and shade: Standard RAL colors are less expensive, special shades are more expensive.
  • Pre-treatment: Rusty or old paint requires cleaning.

Standard delivery time is 10 working days. By arrangement, we offer express delivery within 24–48 hours.

Parts should not be dirty with mud or grass. Our laser cleaning effectively removes corrosion, rust, and contaminants. When delivering your own parts, ensure they are not greasy or contaminated with silicone.

We use high-temperature masking tapes, plugs, and covers. Simply inform us which areas should remain clean.

  • Shade: according to RAL color chart.
  • Gloss: deep matte to high gloss.
  • Texture: smooth, fine texture, or coarse “orange peel”.
  • Special effects: metallics, transparent coatings, hammertone finishes.
